@dyckron@cosocial.ca I’m Gen X. Once Reagan’s and Thatcher’s ideas took hold I realized this too, just as I was leaving high school. My kids try to tell me about the dread of climate change. I understand but I grew up with the threat of nuclear annihilation. I’d rather die in a 20 megaton blast than the slow collapse of climate catastrophe. But we are both being desiccated by Epstein-class capitalism.
