8:20 AM. Doctor comes back in. Summarizes the tests. Nothing indicated, nothing conclusive. Suggests appointment with the rheumatologist which I immediately knocked down because of past experience. Wants to immobilize the finger and put me on Aleve. Says to try to get an appointment with my primary care physician in about 10 days.
When I again suggest the barnacle fragments, he claims that there's no way that they could have migrated.
I begin waiting for the nurse.

@mlanger@mastodon.world What a bizarre affliction. Sounds like an allergic reaction to Barnacle Bob. Hmm. I'm in no way a medical expert, I only grew up watching Emergency! and wished I had the sultry voice of Julie London. Sure hope someone has some insight and treatment for that hand.
