Happy to see it. I would love a new platform to show up and replace reddit. I dont think its going to be Lemmy but something where the creators actually care about great discussions rather than money.
The challenge is moderation of course.

Why not Lemmy? I think it’s way better than reddit. Unfortunately it lacks enough users. I don’t think starting from scratch will offer a better solution.

I don’t honestly think reddit was any better than the old bulletin boards which themselves were just a variation on usenet newsgroups any large site is going to end up in corporate control, that’s the sad and honest truth
