Saw an Instagram video of a trans woman talking about horror she selects clothes that make her look more feminine.
And now I feel so far away from the binary notion of gender.
My goal never was to look more feminine. Yes, I know, surprising if you see my outfits.
But I don't optimize them for being feminine. I optimize them for being me. Feminity has no part in this whole process.
And to be honest, I feel a little bit alone in this

@sashag@anarres.family as trans man I have a similar feeling as yours, towards some masculine items of clothing I feel really "yes I love wearing this" and others "ugh gender performance" - which maybe in my case is more about how comfortable they feel (and how much movement they allow) than how masculine they are coded/read by others. I resonate with the words you use and what you mean, I hope it makes you feel a bit less alone :)
