I currently ride or walk most times I am shopping in my town. There is a severe lack of convenient bike parking. My preferred grocer has parking for 4 bikes, and only one other grocer (of 7) has a bike rack at all.
There are no bike lockers as far as I am aware.
I have no idea how to address this with the businesses. But I do keep pointing to how many of the tourists arrive in town on a saddle via popular trails.

One "make your demographic visible" hint I've seen is to walk through the store with your helmet (rather than locking it outside) so it's clear there are money-spending customers arriving by bike. This of course works best when the people in the store seeing the customers also make design decisions, and not an absentee owner 2 continents over. #BikeNite
