I used to fly kites a lot, although never anything like this, and thought I really ought to have another go at it.

Also did a proper night ride (starting at midnight) after a ferry delay made me miss last train from South coast to London. Very interesting and mind expanding experience. To be recommended. Also was in Southern Europe for heatwave. Below was the direct sunlight temperature - the shade temperature given by meteofrance was 41

Using an upright bike as "curb appeal", something I find VERY common for businesses in a number of countries. Here, the fake bike has pride of place near the entrance where ordinarily you'd put a cycle rack. To the other side, you see what infrastructure there is for parking actual non-decorative upright bikes. #CarCentrism #CycleParkingAudit #BikeNite
