I did not read this post, but by sheer coincidence I played around with open oscar server yesterday.
it's a fun thing, but I don't know who I would chat with. All my IRL friends don't care about any of this retro stuff..

@82mhz@mastodon.bsd.cafe I'm going to convince everyone I know to move from Apple Messages to AIM. OK maybe that's too much :). But yeah, I doubt I'd find many folks to chat with.
