I'm at a cafe and sitting over at the next table are a couple, and the dude is talking so much, and the gal is talking so little, I honestly thought he was on his phone talking to someone else.

Oh, interesting. As I hit the POST button on that one, they got up and left. Their car was right outside, so I saw them getting in: she got in the driver's seat. Ordinarily, I wouldn't notice that sort of thing; I think strict gender rules for e.g. who drives are stupid. But based on their "conversation", it makes me wonder if he feels like there are things he has to compensate for. Like not having a license, or his own car, or as good a job as hers so he could afford to get his own car...
