Slowcooker ?
So many times I have seen slowcookers being used in TV-series . ( Mainly #kdrama )
But never came close to one in real life. Nobody around us uses or used one ever.
We are not new to slowcooking on gas or electric.
Either classic goulash -types or curry dishes.
But the thought of using one is appealing.
Anybody ?

@hanktank61@NerdJoy.social Slowcookers are a very normal part of Midwestern US life, but you might also be confusing them with rice cookers, which are sold in Asian markets more frequently. I have both and I actually use the rice cooker more (it's not totally limited to just rice), but it does depend on the specific recipe. A rice cooker cooks at a medium temperature until the liquid is absorbed or evaporated, a slow cooker just heats at a consistent fairly low temperature indefinitely.
