even worse, edge no longer even makes the download menu pop up, so it's completely silent js rce that keeps running even after you close the browser !! all from just visiting a single website once !!

@rebane2001@infosec.exchange Isn't that the idea? I've never heard of Service Workers being used for anything the user would actually want. They are like designed for malware. And even if they can theoretically be used for something the user wants, if they weren't designed for malware, they would be behind a site permission.
