It doesn't involve Delta Force, it's not going to blow up earth. The President's daughter hasn't been kidnapped.
It's some regular guys (played by Chris Pine and Denzel Washington, so maybe "regular" guys) who work the train lines dealing with the problem
Yes there's tension. Yes there's drama. But they didn't need to turn everything to 11 to make the movie.

@preinheimer@phpc.social > the recent Superman movie in which the city actually is destroyed, and although it is reconstructed we never hear about the people crushed by debris etc. i always wanted a game where the "super heroes" are "saving" the city and you are a first responder following in the wake of it saving people from rubble. as you level up eventually taking the super heroes on yourself to stop their reign of salvation.
