Fantastic news! The FDA has approved the first mRNA flu vaccine.     @luckytran@mastodon.social i've been waiting for this. i'm allergic to egg based vaccines. also, this has had great efficacy, can be quickly tailored to new variants in weeks, not months. i'm amazed brain worm bobby and taco let this out.

    Initially the F.D.A. had refused to even review Moderna’s application for approval earlier this year, but quickly reversed course after a public outcry.
