@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social in fairness, I think it’s more the mind-boggling thought that every person alive today had a mother and a father, who each had a mother and a father, who each had a mother and a father … and so on. If you go back even ten generations, that’s something like 1,000 people who had a role in bringing about each person alive today. Which is kind of incomprehensible. One of my favourite bands wrote a song about it.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social And just ignores that there are a pile of legitimate and sometimes painful reasons why people don’t have kids. For various reasons it didn’t work out me to have kids and I’m way too old to start now. Some people still won’t accept that as an answer.
