@chroma@raccoonisland.social @mttaggart@infosec.exchange how, pray tell, should someone with 30+ years in an industry, a family they support, a mortgage, &etc just go about "pursuing another career" because their "industry has become rotten?"
Not a reasonable thing to ask a 50-something person who has spent decades getting to where they are to do.

@phreakmonkey@infosec.exchange @mttaggart@infosec.exchange Of course, everyone has a different situation. I’m talking about me. Hell, I hate this so much that maybe I would jump ship at 50, but I don’t know because that’s not my situation. But I also have bills to pay.
