@DavidM_yeg@beige.party just like the French and their Maginot Line, the US generals and strategists currently in charge are so wedded to the idea of their superiority that they will not think outside of their narrow box. Just as the French did with DeGaulle, Trump, Hegseth & Co have done to any officer who has dared to question them. Even more think that somehow the US defeated the Soviet Union, when instead they only sort held the line for 45 years and let the Soviet system crumble on its own.
