Capitalism is designed to maintain its control by seperating people from their needs. People did not engage in global imperialism, vast ecploitation, genocide and enslavement for all of human history otherwise we would be extinct, the direction we are now heading.

@PoetsOldBones@mastodon.social @knack@aus.social @nonehitwonder@tenforward.social so when you look at someone like, let's say, Alexander the Great - an imperialist who attempted global domination and engaged in mass enslavement, thousands of years before "capitalism" would be a word... what's your theory there? was Thutmose a capitalist? was dynastic Egypt a capitalist system? capitalism sucks, and it's a system that enables the worst in human nature to come out. but the problem is human nature. so build systems that fail well.
