Picked up some A&W for lunch today. Got this little guy for my daughter while I was at it. Couldn't be helped.

@zazzoo@mstdn.ca As a long time fan of the franchise (like ... *long* time) it's amazing to me how poorly it has fared in the USA and how well the Canadian company has done (after being sold off by the US parent c.1972). They are EVERYWHERE here while you are hard-pressed to find one south of the border. Sure, we lost carhop service, but ... you know ... Canada. First thing the Canadian company fixed with their "coffee shop" concept.
