@VE2UWY@mastodon.radio Yeah it's a really big difference. They don't even have the full burger family south of the border. This place would be nothing without the Teen Burger, imho.

@zazzoo@mstdn.ca Occasionally, you can see a long-sold off A&W store down there that has weather-beaten Burger Family statues looking sad. Sometimes repainted by new owners. Bleah. I swear I've seen more abandoned/repurposed A&Ws in the USA than stores in business. That said, I know a spot in the #Montréal suburbs where the c.1965 A&W driven was where the light standards are still orange! Restaurant only last 5 years, maybe.
