I'm still massively skeptical about biometric auth, especially as it relates to phone security and privacy. As in, don't use it. As in, LEO (at least in the US), can compel you to unlock your phone. As in, if you password lock it, you can tell them to eat shit.

lockdown mode aint gonna save you when that ICE gone sacks you, knocks you unconscious and holds the phone to your face or fingers. are we to the point where that is a legitimate concern? yes. yes we are. We've been there for a while now.
