Also they made a joke about the Eiffel Tower (constructed from 1887-1889) in the presence of Napoleon Bonaparte (d. 1821) and Napoleon thought it funny. Historical accuracy is not this show's strong suit.
Also apparently Larry Tate is 47 years old? The actor was... huh, 52. Okay, so I guess this is just a case of actors in the 60s aging a *lot* faster back then. I blame smoking.

Ah, Uncle Arthur was originally meant to be Aunt Clara in this episode, which explains why they needed to technobabble up why his magic isn't working right. Also technobabble in Bewitched is a funny concept.
