Also when did "Long time no see" stop having the connotations of making fun of Asian diction? Because they just used that phrase when greeting the Japanese character, then cue laughter.

and now there's a whole thing about "losing face" being taken super literally. On the plus side, they do have a Japanese woman at the end who is played by an actual Japanese actor, although of course they have her playing up an accent. (The actor, Helen Funai, was born and raised in California.)
