@clankgy1@infosec.exchange Your Obsidian Vault is just a folder of file. Copy it to a thumb drive from the Win machine, then copy it to the Mac. Install Obsidian on the Mac, then open the vault.

@clankgy1@infosec.exchange I would sync your folder and take a look. Yesterday I was trying to export as PDF on windows and it didn’t have my settings from my Mac or Linux. Overall plugins seem to be the weirdest issues and deep links to files

@clankgy1@infosec.exchange I run my vault on both Ubuntu and a MBP without any issue, through Obsidian Sync. Plugins and all.

@clankgy1@infosec.exchange Can't recommend Mac highly enough. I've been a Windows nerd for decades. Mac does pretty much everything, but with far less wattage used. I don't game but I do do a crapload of photographer workflow and video transcoding and my 18C/40G MBP is exceedingly good at all. Also, Obsidian works flawlessly across both platforms. Nothing to reconfigure. Nothing to worry about at all.
