  Doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment (especially for long term #t1d folks) but the #omnipod 5 system has just reduced my #a1c into the high sevens. I'm still fighting with #unitedhealth over increasing the amount of pods I get per month, but I'm hopeful I will be able to get the insurance stuff sorted and stay with the system.

  After listening to the studio version of and seeing the Rio performance of #rush doing #yyz, I am more convinced than ever that the band had no deadwood or less talented players. Alex, Geddy, and Neil (RIP) were an amazing 3-piece band with exceptional talent that did amazing things. I've not heard the lineup with the new drummer, but I wish them the absolute best and hope they eventually consider putting out studio work.

  @dtm@mastodon.cc Back in the day, I had walking distance access to the NuArt Theater in West LA. Wonderful theater where I saw some great stuff. Santa Monica Blvd. had three independent theaters back then < 1 mile from me. No idea if any of them are still there or indie, but it was a magical time to escape the mass market slop of the era.

  My trust in social media and casual "friends" is again shaken after finding out that a recent rather large purchase for my son will require as much (or maybe more) $ to repair. Given my living situation and recent health issues, it's fair to say that failure of proper due diligence might have cost our family a pretty penny and a friend.   I may not have the issue I thought I would have with my insurance company providing more #omnipod pods than normal. With a 200u reservoir, my 85u/day #insulin use goes through a pod in a little over two days while normal change intervals for the system are every three days.
