i for one thought her review was interesting, and don't agree that she has any obligation to be "respectful" when she's critiquing just because she might have benefitted from Nolan's work

@kalviter@hol.ogra.ph its been interesting seeing so many voices, including many i do really respect, shut down wilson's review as either too mean/rude (as in the article you linked, and like, does the same criticism in a different tone change it that much?) or a bad faith refusal to accept different interpretations (when the way i interpreted the review and the film was moreso a failure in execution than the aims of the interpretation themselves) i cant wrap around why people are so weird about this movie (and like i havent even mentioned the racist/transphobic haters of it, which are by far the worst)
