It's incomprehensible to me that in this scenario, I'm thinking of what's best for EVERYONE and just want to keep everyone safe, yet given societal norms, I come across as overbearing and covid-obsessed, rather than the other parent coming across as irresponsible for exposing everyone to a sick kid. 🤷🏻♀️
Even if it's not covid, we still don't want to catch ANY illness!!

@ikuo1000@mas.to That is an absolutely frustrating and maddening situation. I am glad she finally decided to test her child. Doesn't she want to know if her child has covid and that she, her other family members and other vulnerable people could get it too? It boggles me how people have forgotten how covid can cause more than 'just a cold or flu'. What about days off work due to sickness? Take no days off and spread it? SMH. Even if it were a cold, nobody wants that either.
