Somebody got her drain out today and is a very happy girl! 🎉🥳. Post op day 5. One more week until suture removal. She is allowed one short walk a day now! 🤗 #Husky #DogsOfMastodon #Dogs

Poor baby has an abscess with foreign body and cellulitis below her ear. Surgery went well to drain abscess today, and no signs of residual foreign body post irrigation. Staying overnight. Pic is before surgery. She was able to escape cone of shame in no time last night. Coming home with a drain tomorrow. #Husky #Dogs #DogsOfMastodon

Made a new friend this winter. I find her in the same area near a marshy creek along a path, hunting. But she’ll take a break and come to me. Sometimes she comes running when she sees me with a loud enthusiastic “Meow!” She is a sweetie. I’m always glad to see her. (Even though I’m a dog person). #CatsOfMastodon #Cats
