@mdione@en.osm.town I answered "a few things" but hesitated with "nothing" because it happens once or maybe twice a year. To me people who iron socks and underwears are kind of psychopaths :) For sheets, I can understand if you want to have a nice visual effect and also because it takes less space in the closets for sheets and towels.

@mdione@en.osm.town A few… I have a small number of shirts on which the placket (the strip with the button holes) scrunches and folds over terribly. I’m not really fussy about appearance, but this situation reveals pasty white *me* underneath, and I’m not fond of that. Usually, I still forgo the iron and board… my wife’s straightening iron will smooth those out well enough to avoid embarrasment
