オーマイゴッド. He replaced the circuit board. Must've taken 20 to 25 minutes. Closed the case back up again. Came inside. Powered the indoor unit back on, while clutching a little laptop.
"It looks like I got something wrong. I'll have to do it again."
He's outside now, opening up the case again.

Job done. It seems to be fixed. I'm glad he opened it up a second time because there was a little piece of hard plastic covering where the electronics were and he didn't fit it back properly into the case the first time 😬 The management company pays everything (as they should) 🙏
