Ooh, I actually did this experiment with my kids during the pandemic. We took a disposable pipette and cut it shorter and shorter, measuring the diameter of the resulting tip (getting wider and wider) and then dispensing drops onto an electronic scale, if I remember the droplet mass is proportional to the circumference of the circular orifice with pretty good accuracy. The idea being that the adhesion force is proportional to the thickness of the wall times the circumference.
