spent my morning cleaning out the electric smoker. I hadn't used it in over a year, so I fired the inside at max temp, twice for an hour each time just to make sure if there were any residents, they were well and truly gone. Just got finished scrubbing it with soap and water, then rinsing it out. All of the interior removable trays have been cleaned as well. Just waiting for it to dry out. I got a set of legs for it, because before now, it just sat on the deck with a set of stubby feet. These legs add about 2-3ft of height. Hopefully act as a deterrent to keep pests from trying to get into it. Not that that was problem before, but hopefully this should help keep it that way. Gotta way for the deck and the smoker to dry a little bit, before I install the legs, and reinstall all the hardware, then I can try using it this year.
