Most people don’t actually like, or even want, new. They prefer the improved. They want the thing they already know, but better. Occasionally, someone will change the game with something revolutionary, say the iPhone, but that doesn’t happen very often and the creator is taking a big risk by creating something no one wants, or least no one knows they want.
There is no such thing as “new and improved.”
It’s either one or the other.
