"I don't need anything new. I need you to make what we have now work."

@thegaffer@hobbitwhispers.social I just updated the OS on my iPhone and iPad. These were supposedly incremental security updates, not betas. But they were introducing shit for the upcoming iOS 27. Sure enough, it screwed up my email and took me hours to fix. It should be like the hippocratic oath: First, do no harm. I used to be so much more keen on the new stuff. Now I just want what I have to keep working, but that doesn’t make them any money. Greed.
