@ghostmeet@mastodon.social it would be pretty easy to slap a transient detector on your reverb send if I’m understanding it right

@sean_ae@post.lurk.org cheers, transient detection is one part but also STFT "which prioritizes frequency deviations and tonal changes...the spectral analyzer registers the shifted frequency bands and identifies it as a note change." You can choose transient or spectral detection, or mix between the two. The spectral part is hit and miss ime so far. The reverb swapping also sounds too ducky/clunky , so I'd want to make that swapping smoother. I haven't tried using midi note messages to control it yet.
