@sean_ae@post.lurk.org cheers, transient detection is one part but also STFT "which prioritizes frequency deviations and tonal changes...the spectral analyzer registers the shifted frequency bands and identifies it as a note change." You can choose transient or spectral detection, or mix between the two. The spectral part is hit and miss ime so far. The reverb swapping also sounds too ducky/clunky , so I'd want to make that swapping smoother. I haven't tried using midi note messages to control it yet.

    @ghostmeet@mastodon.social ok i see, they're using that to remove dissonance i guess there's fluid.bufstft~ in flucoma, guess u know that i took a v diff approach making those reverbs (it's rob's track using mostly my stuff), but i should commend them for the hack cos that's a cool seeming way to get something similar (not heard it, just guessing from the way i think it's working) although watching a bit more of this he's not talking about the pitch stuff there so idk actually, maybe just osmosis
