youtube took away the "advanced features" from my channel, banning me from putting external links in the description on any new uploads. their reasoning was that my 13 year old channel doesn't have enough "history"
the only real option given to resolve this is a scan of my ID

I complained about this exactly a year ago today because that's when it first happened. they gave me the choice to "build history" instead of giving my ID, so I took that they never restored the features, and my one year anniversary present is just getting the same email a second time
