@virtualbri@mastodon.online it's high time to put that genie back into the bottle to develop it for use in sciences in a save environment. A.I. isn't bad, there's a lot of variety, not just LLMs. Smart technologies. But not half cooked and not in the hands of only a few money greedy - walking over dead bodies - gamblers. The LLM and data center bubble is pure poison for our current situation: there's climate crisis that already developed so many catastrophies. Slop will not help. And there's fascism.
