Todd Blanche calls the $1.8B slush fund dead.
The money says otherwise: two days before his own confirmation vote, his DOJ cut a $1M check from that fund to a man convicted of blocking access to an abortion clinic.
Trump's tax audit immunity—part of the same settlement deal—is already locked in too, which is why Blanche refuses to put anything in writing.
There’s a reason members of own party have postponed his confirmation vote.

@DeliaChristina@sfba.social If the fund is “dead,” why is money still moving from it right before a confirmation vote? That alone raises questions that deserve clear, written answers.
