making a little mark in my calendar, because today was the first time I saw a tender requirement saying “no part of the code or the other deliverables may be produced using AI”

I’m wondering how the customer is going to disprove compliance on this one, unless someone starts a document with “you’re absolutely right”

I should note that my own position re LLMs is evolving towards “there’s some genuinely useful technology here. I just wish we could have it without turning the planet into a fascist-run desert hellscape.”
