One of the worst things working in security is information overload leading to paralysis. That leads to the I'm not good enough/imposter syndrome. They way out of it is to narrow focus and not try to know everything. Unfortunately that is much easier said than done.

  • @siliconshecky@infosec.exchange There's the caveat. The more you narrow your focus, the easier you are to lay off if the economy turns. That's why all the threat intel specialists are in the perpetual, employed//unemployed cycle.
