I've heard rumors that El Felon of a President is gonna be in Vegas Wednesday. So what talk is he planning on giving, and how screwed is Blackhat now?

One of the worst things working in security is information overload leading to paralysis. That leads to the I'm not good enough/imposter syndrome. They way out of it is to narrow focus and not try to know everything. Unfortunately that is much easier said than done.

There is no such thing as perfect security. Don't let being better stop you from being good for now. Too many times the idea of something better being there prevents us from implementing some security measure that works at this time while working towards better.

Today I performed the National Anthem for the Schaumburg Boomers baseball game. Always an honor to perform the Anthem before events.

Nope, not going to summer camp again this year. It is an ROI on Vegas vs. Other Conferences and what do I get out of it. I enjoyed Summer Camp when I went, but with other high expenses in my life (kid's sports) and work right now not willing to cover the trip, I cannot justify it for me. To all those going, enjoy and have fun.
