@ToniBarth@troet.cafe @jonathan859@someplace.social @matt@toot.cafe Did you see what they did with Fable? You can't use it with the monthly plan anymore, it needs useage credits. So they gave me $100 in promotional credits! "Oh yay," I think to myself, "I can reserve these for the Fable work." Wrong! It uses useage credits whenever your subscription runs out. You cannot stop it. That $100 was gone in less than a week.
I predict more of these shenanigans in the future.

@prism@infosec.exchange @jonathan859@someplace.social @matt@toot.cafe Yes you can stop it, at least over here in the EU you can disable using credits entirely, even if you got them charged up. I wouldn't at all be confused if they added this setting for EU only, which is why I expressed it explicitly.
