🚨 Complaint filed: the online dictionary dict.cc tries to nudge users into consenting to online tracking by 1,741 (!) “partners” with a single click. 👉 This makes it impossible for users to know exactly who has access to their data and how it is actually used. @noybeu@mastodon.social Pity, I was using dict.cc quite a bit years ago, now only occasionally. I have the feeling that every time I visit, the number of "partners" is larger. Not that long ago it might have been closer to 1000.

@noybeu@mastodon.social Most of the A.I and other policies are written in a Legalese language, obscuring the real meaning or leaving it open to many interpretations While claiming Zero data retention , yet having 3rd party vendors and partners who openly share all they get their hands on All is written like a CIA playbook with more levels and citations than Wiki Pedia , leaving the customer without understanding
