It used to be thought that it was caused by artificial colours & flavourings and sugar highs. The first 2 are probably bad in lots of ways, & sugar highs are a thing, but it’s not ADHD.
It’s about pathologising natural neurodivergence at the same time as denying the worst aspects (yes, inconsistent), making it a matter of personal/parental responsibility, & reducing support by the state.

Don't allow the massive fascist PR campaign to cloud your perception about what was actually available in terms of medical knowledge. @theartlav@anarres.family @Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt
