Possibly I'm wrong about this. Maybe my POV isn't the one that counts.
Well, before the age of AI answers, we lived in the age of SEO slop. Not as bad as AI slop, but we still hated it.
That's because Google changed their mission from helping people find information to helping people be found.

Helping people get found ruined finding information. It's what made Google bad before AI made Google bad. So I think my POV is the one that counts. In a way AI answers is a swing back to its original mission. People aren't going to websites, because Google has helped them find something.
