Helping people get found ruined finding information. It's what made Google bad before AI made Google bad.
So I think my POV is the one that counts.
In a way AI answers is a swing back to its original mission. People aren't going to websites, because Google has helped them find something.

Unfortunately, "something" is AI answers, which are very often crap. So the problem isn't exactly that traffic is down. That's just a symptom. The problem that we are being fed low quality answers and taking them as truth, and not seeking out the truth that's behind those answers.
