I think my phone has a better graphics processor than my shitty desktop pc.
I want desktop mode on android on /e/os or graphene
Why are we paying for these expensive phones and not using them as desktops by plugging them into a docking station?
This is the future I want but like already possible yesterday right?

@limebar@mastodon.social Pretty sure Ubuntu for Android can operate as a desktop. Similar to the Motorola Atrix from 2011.

@limebar@mastodon.social GrapheneOS does have a desktop mode. It fully supports DisplayPort alternate mode and USB-C audio. The desktop mode can be used an external display along with speakers, mouse, keyboard, game controller and other accessories at the same time. GrapheneOS also has hardware accelerated virtualization support. It can be used to run applications not ported to Android. The VM management app is still called Terminal for now but it supports graphical applications and opt-in GPU acceleration.
