Here’s the latest state of a WIP prototype branch. We’re still going to do a design pass to improve things; maybe removing the card styling of results (since each section isn’t activatable, but results within are).
There’s more to do, and again: this light style is an off-by-default accessibility setting that I’ve been testing with to ensure it will work, but we don’t plan to ship a light shell by default in 51 afaik.
But you can at least see some progress. :)

@cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family How does it look when all search providers apart from apps are disabled? I am only using this to quickly start apps and maintain an empty desktop.
