And the feds talk about suspending parts of the Species at Risk Act to remove the jeopardy test (section 73 (3)(c)) because some animals might just have to go extinct to get a good ROI profile on this play. But do you see BCers contemplating a separation vote? (I’m not talking about the O&G shills who want to be Albertans) No you don’t. Because mature adults know that you work this shit out - with courts if necessary - rather than threatening to do something like “leave Confederation”.

    Which, isn’t even a thing. Smith’s address yesterday talked about some kind of legal and Constitutional process for leaving Confederation. But there isn’t one. That is not how Canada works. But of course her US funders don’t know how Canada works and they don’t care. They half believe they can just annex us and be done with it. Failing that, break the country up somehow.
