@aardrian@toot.cafe What are situations when only using the conformance model is useful? I expect people want to know, for example, when the Time-based Media criteria Pass because all the media meet them vs. when there isn't any media and therefore the criteria Pass. VPATs and the WCAG-EM Report Tool use formats that allow accounting for more than the binary states.

    @cwilcox808@c.im When claiming WCAG conformance from a WCAG review. But yes, VPATs can allow ‘N/A’ with guidance not to (attached from latest template). An author should put the info you cite in the “Remarks and Explanations” cell for an SC. As for WCAG-EM, it explicitly states it does not guarantee it can be used for WCAG conformance claims: https://w3c.github.io/wai-wcag-em/#context But an author can still put the kinds of info you cite into the report.
