@michael_w_busch@mastodon.online @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I've had people in my car use the term "musical whiplash" when I put my library on random.

@Perrin42@mastodon.social @michael_w_busch@mastodon.online @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org i like to say that there is a high likelihood that any person can find 10 songs they love and 10 songs they despise somewhere in my collection. it's... eclectic? i do like the term "musical whiplash". :)

  • @Perrin42@mastodon.social @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I once confused a telescope operator when my playlist rolled over to Carmina Burana in the middle of the night.

@Perrin42@mastodon.social @michael_w_busch@mastodon.online @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I've had someone call it 'stripping the clutch' cuz the genre\mood shift is so rough. Someone else said they felt like they got slapped in the face every time a new song came on I get bored easily ok I can't help it I need a variety

@Perrin42@mastodon.social @michael_w_busch@mastodon.online @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I have added musical clash of those songs I have downloaded for work - as I am a funeral celebrant this means I can go from BugHunter ‘Panic Room’ to Westlife’s cover of ‘The Rose’ then back to TMBG ‘Dig my Grave.’ This cracks my kids up!!
